A small moving company, right at home in Lowell

Our story

The way we move

Hebert & Sons Movers began with a pickup truck and a simple promise to help. Ed Hebert took on small moving jobs around Lowell, and his sons often worked beside him. What started as neighbors helping neighbors gradually became a family business with an office on George Street.

The early jobs taught the family that moving requires more than strength. People are trusting movers with furniture, personal belongings, and pieces of their lives. Every item deserves to be handled with care, whether the move involves a first apartment, a family home, or an office.

As the company grew, Hebert & Sons began handling larger residential, commercial, and long-distance moves. The work changed, but the family’s approach stayed the same: arrive prepared, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for the job.

Today, the next generation continues the business in Lowell. The name Hebert & Sons still reflects the company’s family roots and the practical values it was built on.
